Description:             To equip participants to undertake general risk assessments

 

Audience:                 Anyone with a responsibility for the health and safety of employees, pupils, children or members of the public. Anyone who is expected to write risk assessments for their area of work

Objectives:               By the end of this session you will:

·         Understand why risk assessments are required and how they fit into the legal framework for the management of health and safety at work

·         Understand the scope and benefits of risk assessments

·         Understand the council’s risk assessment process

·         Be able to undertake general risk assessments, having practised a range of assessment techniques

Learning                   Participants will have the necessary information to undertake general risk

Outcomes:               assessments to support the council to achieve its statutory health and safety duties.

A cancellation must be made at least 3 weeks prior to the event date, otherwise the following charges will apply:
