Course 1        12th and 19th October 2017        6.00pm – 9.00pm
                 Course 2        1st   and 8th February 2018         6.00pm – 9.00pm
                 Course 3        17th and 24th April 2018              6.00pm – 9.00pm                    

Description:     This course is for those who work regularly with children and young people and with parents/carers and who need a fuller understanding of how to work together to identify and assess concerns as well as to plan, undertake and review interventions
 
Requirements:             It is a requirement that people will already have undertaken the Keeping Children Safe Level 1-Framework for Action in the last 3 years and must produce their Level 1 certificate
 
Audience:        Practitioners (except schools) who work with children and young people at the Early Help Level 1 and 2 of the Framework for Action who will have to complete an Early Help Assessment and call or attend Action Meetings
 
Objectives:      By the end of this session you will be able to:
Identify what safeguarding and Early Help is at level 2 on the Framework for Action
Know how Early Help safeguards and benefits children and families
Apply Early Help and Child Action processes in your practice
Understand what your role and responsibilities are at Level 2
